Welcome to the latest Weekly Plan Spotlight! This week we’re highlighting a deal from Verizon, who aren’t exactly known for their budget offerings. Historically Big Red has taken the approach that they don’t need to run promotions to maintain and grow their massive userbase. However, it looks like something new is around the corner. Get this:
Buy one Galaxy S9 or S9+, and you’ll get an additional S9 free.
Yeah okay, what’s the catch?
Not many punches to pull here. It’s frankly one of the best deals we’ve seen so far for the latest in Samsung’s flagship devices.
This is pretty standard fair for BOGOs among carriers. As per pretty much all of the deals we come across, the carrier isn’t going to literally hand you a second device as soon as you buy the first one. Rather, if you purchase an S9 or S9+ when opening a new line with Verizon, you can get an additional S9 that they’ll reimburse you for in the form of $799 credit.
A par for the course Buy One Get One that puts you on the nation’s largest network.
Where’s the fine print?
Again, pretty boilerplate. You don’t even need to do a trade in. Here’s the “Needs to Know” straight from Verizon:
- Purchase of new phone must be on an installment plan.
- Credit for the second phone is applied via 24 monthly bill credits and starts within 2 bills.
- To get the full value, you will need to stay on your installment payment plan for the full 24 months.
- Activation fee of $25/line applies.
- Requires a new line of service to qualify.
- If you cancel service, full balance is due.
- This deal excludes device’s sales taxes.
Verizon’s Go Unlimited Freedom runs $75/month and is one of the most popular plans in the nation. Unlimited talk, text, and data, of course.
|Monthly Payment||Monthly Total (incl Plan)|
|Galaxy S9 Plus||$39/mo||$114/mo|
What are you waiting for! Choose your preferred plan below and grab a Galaxy S9 or S9+ with an extra S9 thrown in for good measure!
