Today, Google announced the ability to pick up Google Photos prints at 7,500 CVS locations the same day you order them.
Prints will be 4 x 6 inches in size and cost $0.33 each. You can change the pick-up contact to a family member or friend if you’re busy with something, though the pick-up time will vary by store. You’ll need to call CVS to determine when exactly the prints will be ready.

The announcement comes a few weeks after Flickr announced the ability to order metal, paper, and canvas prints. Prints from Flickr cost as little as $0.49, though the price can balloon to $50 for canvas prints.
Same-day pick-up for Google Photos prints is rolling out across the U.S. starting today, with a broader roll-out slated for October 2019. Based on an APK teardown, here’s how you’ll be able to place an order:
- Open the Google Photos app.
- In the sidebar, tap Print shop.
- Tap Photo prints, then tap Order prints.
- Alternatively, you can start from any horizontally-listed album.
- Tap Get Started, then select as many images as you’d like to print.
- Tap Next, then select the closest CVS location.
- Tap Place order when you’re ready.
